They’re more of an interpretation. People who actually read exactly what the cards say are full of shit. Those who use them as a tool are still iffy at best. If you’re going for a reading, stay away from people who read cards. Most of them are bogus 900 line operators.

If I knew you and you were here I would read your tarot for free. However most readers do seem to charge and it is only good manors to at least tip someone who has done you a good deed. That being said I would get my cards read if the price is not too much. The last time I had mine done it was on Samhain or Halloween and was done by a reader who was taking donations for the cure for Brest cancer. So A good deed was done by all. There are those who charge more that $20.00 I personally think that is a bit much for a mere reading of the cards. But it is up to you! It is up to you get a reading or not, make sure you feel safe with the person, if your gut feeling says its not right then don’t go through with it, find someone you are happy with.
Tarot cards help you understand whats going to happen within the couple of weeks and there may be something that is perfectly clear to you, but if not don’t worry it will all work out when the time comes.

how can a simple card have any connection with once fate ?
Scientifically it is fake but then again there are so many thing’s that are not yet discovered just like the radio waves that travel & carry some kind of energy in them we cannot see/hear/feel it but it does exist like the black hole from the deep dark space of our universe which has never been understood & studied in detail, this chapter “fortune telling cards” is not explained scientifically nobody has proved that these card’s possess a secret untold power that can read once fate accurately.
Some people say: if you see you’re future bad or good you can never change it & if you do you’re fortune card’s were inaccurate in their prediction
And some people say: if you see you’re future good or bad it changes
I say life is short knowing you’re future wont help you in any way tomorrow if a voodoo guy/gurl tells you that you are gonna be the richest person on earth it ant gonna happen if you just sit & do nothing in life there is no such thing as fate/luck we make our own destiny & we dig our own grave it’s you’re call in the end be you have to put an effort to be somebody or be somebody’s fool =) but there is no harm in a peek a boo at you’re future i have been told i’m gonna be a very rich dude @_@ honestly i doubt it but i hope it’s true $_$

I have my fortune told by a woman who uses a regular deck of playing cards, she doesn’t use tarot cards. The first time she ever read my cards she told me things no one but me knew. She is very good. I try to go once a month and she is almost always right on so I do believe in fortune tellers. If you want to know if she can really read cards just go in and sit down and don’t say a word, let her do all the talking. If she is a true card reader you won’t have to say a word, she will tell you everything. My sister took me to another woman who was pretty good but not as good as mine. I also went to one who was so far off the mark I tell everyone I know what a phony she is and a friend of mine went to yet another one and I was warned by someone to never go to her, that she was a big phony so I never went to her and she has since moved away. Word of mouth is how you will find a real card reader. Good luck.
My favorite attitude about reading the Tarot is that (for the reader) they open up a window for your intuition, spirit guides, angels, whatever to communicate with you about what’s going on. And it’s not always about the future. Tarot cards mostly give you an idea of the kinds of energies that are influencing someone’s life, emotions, experience, etc. People read the cards different ways; some are very specific, others more general. Some are very stuck to the traditional interpretations of the pictures and symbols on the cards; others (like me) like their intuitions guide them.
A typical reading might sound like this:
“In the past, you have been lead by a feeling of dissatisfaction. Lately, you have a desire to strike off in your own direction, to search for something. If things unfold with no intervention, you can expect that you will, eventually, achieve balance. A good action for you to take at this time would be to examine your own attitudes toward being right–are you being too arrogant about something? If you perform this action, you can expect to reap the reward of a careful investment.” A good reader would go on to provide more detail and connections between the meanings indicated by the individual cards.
Your future is never set in stone. A Tarot reading can only provide some signposts; you choose which way to go.
