    The vast majority of psychologists subscribe to the scientist-practitioner model. Although most strive to conduct culturally relevant therapy (e.g., if a client was superstitious, the psychologist would respect that), they do not personally ascribe any merit whatsoever to non-scientific notions (e.g., superstition, ESP, psychics).
