May 1st, 2010 City Of Toronto Theatrical Jane’s Walk in Mount Dennis. The Mount Dennis Community hosted an Animated walk where residents told tales of the neighborhood through a play project that included local talent and song where Secret Gardens meet Urban beats. The Mount Dennis Community is an isolated urban city suburb with deep historical roots, complexities and an abundance of community spirit and green space in the vicinity of Eglinton Ave W, Jane St, and Weston Rd. Partnering with Everybodys Theatre Company(ETC) and the Mount Dennis Community Kitchen, residents of Mount Dennis hosted this years Janes Walk to explore the neighborhood urban myths, realities and stories of living in a Priority Neighborhood. The Mount Dennis Play Project: A Whole New Picture; explores relevant, social and urban issues, highlighting local heroes, green initiatives and the natural aspects of the neighborhood. Walkers were guided through residential streets to the Humber river uncovering secret gardens and the idealic wildlife oasis known as Eglinton Flats. Guests saw and heard from the diverse perspective of residents who make Mount Dennis their home, sharing their stories of ghosts from Kodak past, the turtles of Topham Pond and the heart warming beginnings of the Mount Dennis Community Kitchen – where residents shake up the perceptions of living in one of Torontos 13 priority neighborhoods.

Demonic possessions, deformed men with claws, zombies and other beings infested small areas of the US, bringing unspeakable deeds to life. The government, to avoid social chaos, relied on their best men to handle the problem and keep the situation covered up. Special forces used all available means to attack these monsters. All witnesses were killed or incarcerated to conceal the truth. Ordinary citizens were accused of inconceivable crimes. The luckiest were declared insane and committed to asylums. The mass media were used to present these beings as urban myths, and make sure they remained purely fictional in the eyes of the general population. From 1970 to 1990, various films were released. The Exorcist, Nightmare on Elm Street. Friday the 13th, Zombie, The Thing, etc. These films werent the sick fantasies of those masters of horror, but things that actually happened. In 1985, America trained one man, Alex Fog. This was their trump card in the elimination of evil. While on a mission abroad in 1992, Fog finds out his wife and children have been murdered, and his entire hometown exterminated, by a group of zombies.
