I assume their system is mathematical / structured, with the planets indicating certain things etc..
At a recent reading, a vedic astrologer correctly guessed that I had bought a new car, the numbers on the plate and the color of the car. And this was while I was on holiday and my car was parked back home in another country!
This person went on to correctly guess my past and say some other things about the future which weren’t very good..
How specifically can an astrologer divine someone’s frigging car number? In ANOTHER COUNTRY??
Is this even supposed to be possible in Vedic Astrology?
Or does this person have somekind of “gift”?

Somekind of gift researching backgrounds on the net, it sounds like. Automobile registration info. is not impossible to find, but I would say be careful what Personal information You give out. To this Person..Especially.
