Q&A: Did You Know That 2 “Minor Biblical Prophecies” Are Being Fulfilled Right Here?

Question by Nero: Did you know that 2 “minor biblical prophecies” are being fulfilled right here?
In Yahoo Answers!

1. ‘The fool said there is no God’. Read Psalm 14:1′
2. ‘ I thank you Father for hiding these things from the wise and revealing these to mere babes’, this is according to Jesus himself. Read Matthew 11:25.

Oh, btw, the word prophecy does not always connote prediction. It also connotes teachings.

So, what do you think? Are these prophecies being fulfilled long before Yahoo! Answers existed?

LONG before YA. Even during the time of Jesus, men were saying there was no God. This is nothing new, just a new way to say it, thats all.

  • jordan101angel:

your crazy Jesus is real ok he is real

My ass! Insulting the intelligence of those with whom you disagree in an attempt to show an error in their ideas is an illogical and childish form of argument.

Insulting them besides is fair game.

  • A_Geologist:

I have another prophecy; we will all eventually die.

  • Serj:

and people regularly find images of the ‘virgin’ mary and jesus in their grilled cheese sandwiches and such. you’re all nuts.

  • Dan D:

Actually it is fulfilling one more too: Malachi 3:16 Those who feared the Lord spoke often one to another.

  • rkirby1331:

Sure… thanks for the reminder about those who consider themselves wise.

you christians are completly NUTS. you can relate any situation in the world to the bible. the christians do it every second of existance.

  • ThomasR:

God constantly is answering our prayers.

It’s always good to hear from others God’s goodness!

We see what we want to see
We hear what we want to hear
Look around you. Open your eyes.
I bet there’s way more prophecies happening right now.

What about the tree Jesus spoke of on the Way of the Cross?
That tree he spoke of then as being green is now old.
Not only that, but the soil is dry (meaning God’s grace is falling for nothing)
Plus on top of it all, the fire of secularism is storming and raging all around us.
    Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

Did you know that I don’t care!

  • yehoshooa adam:

my dear sir or sirette: there is not a day nor second that has not gone by that prophecy is being fullfilled, for over 5760 years to now near the end of the sixth day of G-D here in TheTorah Week. and there is no such thing as a minor propecy. wheather detriment reward or good reward. and prophecy also means messinger as well. even my being here, as well as the continuance of the existance of all of physicial totality, is fullfillment of the prophecy. and you are so close to the resurrection of the two wittnesses adam and chaooah, that you are not aware of this. do not strain at everything as if it is a minor event, which may impare your ability to see what you could call a major event, being totaly missed.

This is the entire entry from the Random House Unabridged Dictionary:

proph?e?cy? /?pr?f?si/ Pronunciation Key – Show Spelled Pronunciation[prof-uh-see] Pronunciation Key – Show IPA Pronunciation

–noun, plural -cies. 1. the foretelling or prediction of what is to come.
    2. something that is declared by a prophet, esp. a divinely inspired prediction, instruction, or exhortation.
    3. a divinely inspired utterance or revelation: oracular prophecies.
    4. the action, function, or faculty of a prophet.

So by definition, the only way you can claim it connotes teachings, is if you change the words meaning (similar to how creationists change what the word theory means).

    1) A nice way to reassure the faithful, by claiming anyone who believes differently is a fool…there’s that christian love and name calling.
    2) Disregarding any arguements about whether or not Jesus existed, Matthew didn’t write the Gospel of Matthew (it was written at between 40 and 60 years after the crucifixion…), so you’re quoting hearsay about hearsay.

Furthermore, you use contradictory statements…are they fools for claiming no god, or are they wise because these things are hidden from the wise?

  • novangelis:

Fools can also say there is a God. Thank you for demontrating.
