Are you that blind? I don’t want to sound so cynical, but with sales of religion down in general in the USA a new gimmick is always needed to re-open the pockets of the gullible. The false prediction of the end of the world is nothing new, and the latest “end of the world in 2012″ is just another sensationalist scam by a bunch of preachers who refuse to get a real job.

Sorry, I love hearing people’s views on this.

I don’t see why people are freaking out about this “Nostradamus 2012,” Planet X (Nibiru) stuff. One, if the worlds gonna end… IT’S GONNA END. Do you actually think we could even attempt to stop it? I’m Catholic, but even if you’re not, you can’t disagree that if God (or someone who could possibly be as powerful as God, depending on your religious views) wills the end of the world, it’s coming no matter what.
What I’m really getting at though is this Mayan calender stuff. December 21, 2012 is supposedly said to mark the end of the thirteenth B’ak’tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calender. This, being said, is the speculated date the world is going to end. But, chew on this for a moment:
