Alan Oken – Astrologer


 

Alan Oken is an internationally renowned astrologer, author, educator and lecturer whose work over the last 35 years has taken him to over 30 countries and almost all of the 50 United States. Alan has a passion for sharing his knowledge; through astrological counseling, metaphysical study groups and spiritual tours of sacred sites, his work has touched people around the globe: from royalty to regular folks — from Moscow to Monterey Mexico. Alan has published over a dozen books in a dozen languages, including the popular Pocket Guides to Astrology (Bantam Books, 1971), Pocket Guide to Numerology (The Crossing Press, 1996) Pocket Guide to Tarot (The Crossing Press, 1996). He has contributed hundreds of articles in various foreign and domestic astrological and metaphysical journals and he writes a monthly column, “Soul-Centered Astrology” that has appeared for the past fourteen years in “Dell Horoscope Magazine”. Currently, Alan is the International Vice-President of the International Society for Astrological Research (representing Portugal). He was Co-founder and Director of the Australian Institute for the Development of Consciousness from 2006-2008 and Director of the Sixth Year of Studies, for The Quiron Center in Lisbon, Portugal.
