What Can We Do to Prevent “psychics” From Participating in Missing Persons Investigations?
It’s pathetic, and it’s only gotten worse in the past few years.
Families have lost loved ones, unfortunately most of the time, they aren’t found alive. These families become desperate and become gullible, which is understandable. Unfortunately money-mongering frauds who call themselves psychics take advantage of them, it is serious emotional abuse.
My question is, is there anything that someone like myself could do to put these people out of business, for the sake of these families?
Thankfully, more recently news programs like Anderson Cooper and 20/20 have aired specials questioning the authentication of psychics.
Please take a look at this video, you’ll see the negative impact they leave on these poor, devastated people when they realize they’ve been deceived. It’s sickening, it really is.

There are ones that are true to the gift. And many that are charlatans.
You could go to your congressperson and see about proposing a bill about the “psychics” not being able to contact families of missing persons,that there be a registry where they must put all their information,cases solved/unsolved ect,kind of like the national sex offender registry,that payment may not be recieved unless there is concrete evidence that the person has been found and try to get the bill passed as a law. There are some that are truely gifted but most are scammers and need to be taught a lesson about taking avantage of people and how they will be punished if they choose to do so. I didn’t open your link however, if you saw it on youtube, you should take it very lightly. There are psychics out there that are real but, I can agree that there are a lot of fakes also.
make it a requirement that you have to correctly pick the pick 3 numbers in the lotto each day for a period of a week before you will accept anything that they say so first that should be the proof of non fakers
