I agree! There are so many people (not everyone, but a lot) who want to see Obama fail. I don’t understand it. If he fails, all Americans will too! Why would you wish something bad upon yourself, your family, and other fellow Americans? It makes no sense. At least wait until he’s sworn into office before predicting his failure.

Its not as is Kerry would have done any better in 2004. It would have been nice to see a different Republican candidate in 2004, but Bush was chosen by the primary. I don’t think that McCain was a good pick for the candidate this time either. The pick should have been Ron Paul with Mitt Romney as VP. What Republicans are referring to is the same failures that beset Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter was also a nobody who promised a lot of things and ended up screwing this country up further. Just read about Jimmy Carter and you will see that he is partially responsible for the oil and economic crisis we now have.

I don’t buy the doomsday predections some people have made, but you also have to call into question the predictions that he’ll be amazing and magical, too!

I think most of us were probably raised in an AMERICA that we are comfortable with, and that has respect and honor .
and many of us were brought up in a ‘hell fearing ‘ church that preached the bible.
So many of us really ARE afraid for the future because everything this man represents seems to be what was predicted and prophecied more than 2000 years ago. . . .so i think it appals and shocks us to see a ‘future leader of america; so opposed to honoring our flag, going boldy against everything the Bible has taught, etc…..
