Why R the Indians So Concerned With the Zodiacs and Fortune Telling?
I ‘ve noticed that most of the questions on the board here r asked by the Indians , especially the signs comptability questions !
Is it something related to religion? to their culture?
I don’t mean by this question to offend anyone , so no offense pls!

i ‘ve asked this question before , but i didn’t get informative answers
and yes i ‘ve noticed that they give names to their children according to their birth date !and even some girl here were about to lose her beloved cuz of their zodiac comptability!

Indians as in from India? Maybe, but I think many of them are Hindus, and I’m not sure if the zodiac is a major part of their belief or not. You may try looking it up on Google or something.

i’ve never known of any indians to be into zodiac or fortune telling =/
i can’t speak and say most, because i don’t know the religious backgrounds of all indians- some are hindus. the only thing i know about that religion is the belief of being re-incarnated. idk. culture? eh. could be, probably be, maybe. best thing to do would be to ask them and get a direct answer.
horoscopes go with hinduism. they believe that certain days and times are good for certain things. like for example, birth of a kid. they check up everything form the month, time of day to the alignment of the stars just to get the kids name, or the first syllable. i think it’s pretty neat. or certain imes of the day to plan religious songs and such. the horoscopes go with the birth thing. that the stars kind of tell you fate. to better put it it’s like you’re there and the environment interacts with you in such a way that you can kind of predict the outcome (that’s my conception at least) it’s a very superstitious culture.
It matters because sometimes if the womans sign is not compatible then the man can die.
Hindus are superstitious people, they worship Cows and some of them monkies, but they reached nuclear technology.
As for your question, i have no idea.
